The Cleansing of the Temple^(A)

⁴⁵ Then He entered the temple and began to drive out those who sold and bought in it, ⁴⁶ saying to them, “It is written, ‘My house will be a house of prayer,’^[a] but you have made it ‘a den of thieves.’^[b]”

⁴⁷ He taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests, the scribes, and the leaders of the people tried to kill Him.
